Organización y diversidad : una reflexión sobre el uso del espacio y del tiempo

Abstract

En este trabajo nos proponemos reflexionar sobre la organización escolar en relación con la diversidad. Son muchos los temas a revisar desde esta nueva perspectiva, ya que la organización escolar misma se consolida en unos marcos conceptuales donde la diferenciación de los alumnos partía de unas bases muy distintas a las que hoy sirven a la consideración de una escuela que sirva a todos. Especialmente nos interesa plantear cómo afectan a la respuesta a la diversidad el uso del espacio y del tiempo en la escuela, porque son variables estructurantes del trabajo de profesores y alumnos con respecto a las cuales no se plantean otros problemas que los de su falta: falta espacio y tiempo para casi todo lo que tendríamos que hacer, pero ¿Qué hacemos con el que tenemos? ¿Hasta qué punto sentimos el tiempo y el espacio como algo nuestro? ¿Quién y cómo coloniza nuestro tiempo?.

In this work we try to reflect on the school organization in relation with diversity. Exist many themes to review in this new perspective, due to the school organization is consolidated in conceptual frames where the differentiation of students was consider in a different way like today, where the school is understood as something opened to everybody. Specially we are interested in how affect to diversity the use of space and time in the school, due to they are structural variables of the work of teachers and students with regard to them there are some problems: lack of space and time for the things must be done, but what can we do with the time and space we have? How do we consider time and space like ours? Who and how is colonized our time?
