Cavilaba don Honorato en su soledad sobre cómo habían llegado a esa situación, gente en sí pacífica y civilizada, pues las guerras comienzan sin saber cómo y acaban como acaban, siempre mal, con resultados imprevistos e infinidad de daños colaterales

Don Honorato was reflecting on his loneliness about how they had gotten themselves into that situation, being pacific and civilized people in essence; since wars start without knowing the reason, and they end as they do, always badly, with unexpected results and an endless collateral damages.
