Datación palinoestratigráfica del volcanismo en la sección de la Ribera del jarama (Faja Pirítica Ibérica, Zona Surportuguesa)

Abstract

The levels of black slates that appear through the whole series of volcanic materials, have been revealed as a high-priority objective when carrying out studies detailed in the IPB, since they are constituted as a good paleontological resource for the dating of the volcanic materials in this area, besides a good tool when establishing a correlation and precise biostratigraphy of the whole IPB. The sequence basic litostratigraphyc, inside the Ribera of Jarama, they provide a continuous series, that which has allowed us to date with certainty the duration of the volcanic activity inside this area
