Abstract
documentos literarios.
The author proposes that, when the year 14 A.D. the Senate of Rome decreed the apotheosis in honor of Augustus and consequently the birth of the imperial cult, in Hispanic provinces had developed a real personality cult of the living princeps, who was not born spontaneously, but by the initiative of Rome, according to the testimony of various epigraphic monuments and literary documents.
