Abstract
trabajadores/as del ámbito social.
as Sociales, Psicólogos/as, Educadores/as, y
burnout, engagement, compromiso organizacional,
muestra seleccionada. Los datos fueron analizados
mediante SPSS 22.0, realizando estadísticos
descriptivos, correlaciones bivariadas, pruebas T
estos/as profesionales.
This article analyzes a set of psychosocial variables, and the relationship between them, in a sample of 488 workers in the social field. The research, carried out under the perspective of Positive Occupational Health Psychology, is integrated into a line of research that is activated from the University of Huelva with the main objective of analyzing the occupational health of Social Workers, Psychologists, Educators, and other professionals in different intervention areas, being the study of occupational health in this field scarce in Spain. For the collection of information, a questionnaire was administrated on an individual, voluntary and anonymous basis, which allows to approach the objectives of the study, consisting of the analysis of the variables burnout, engagement, organizational commitment, empowerment and passion for the work in the selected sample. The data were analyzed through SPSS 22.0, making descriptive statistics, bivariate correlations, T tests for independent samples and ANOVAS. The conclusions obtained made it possible to establish a profile of professionals who stand out for showing higher rates of enthusiasm and dedication to work than those linked to negative traits linked to burnout. However, this should not prevent the development of strategies that enhance the positive aspects shown by these professionals.
