Abstract
En el marco de las animadas relaciones de poesía y pintura en la Venecia
del Cinquecento, se cuentan dos poemas de Aretino («Furtivamente Tiziano e Amore») y
Hurtado de Mendoza («Tu gracia, tu valor, tu hermosura») dedicados al retrato de Tiziano de una dama misteriosa que se ha identificado con doña Marina de Aragón y una
amante judía, con toda una serie de problemas. Este trabajo pretende examinar la red
de relaciones que está detrás de este ejercicio picto-poético, así como examinar ambos
textos en relación con el arte y el posible cuadro en el marco de los poemas di ritratto
:In the context of the intense relationships between poetry and painting in Venice during the 14th Century, appears two poems by Aretino («Furtivamente Tiziano e Amore») and Hurtado de Mendoza («Tu gracia, tu valor, tu hermosura») dedicated to Tiziano’s portrait of a mysterious lady that has been identified with doña Marina de Aragón and a Hebrew mistress, with a series of problems. This work aims to review the network of contacts that is the base for this pictorial- poetical exercise, as well as to examine both texts in relation with the artistic world and the possible paintings in the tradition of portrait-poems
