Abstract
El presente trabajo pretende dar a conocer unos sorprendentes “Juegos Atléticos” que tuvieron lugar en Huelva a finales del siglo XIX hasta 1935, con unas características similares a los que seis años después se celebrarían en Atenas con los primeros Juegos Olímpicos de la era moderna.
The present contribution aims to let it be known some surprising “Athletic Competitions” which were being held in Huelva since the end of the 19th century until 1935, having similar characteristics to those which six years later would take place in Athens in the first Olympic Games of the modern era.
