Chile en la Sociedad de la información : contexto, indicadores y desafíos

Abstract

Chile presenta actualmente los indicadores de acceso a las nuevas tecnologías de la información más altos a nivel regional. Es a partir de este hecho que el objetivo central de esta investigación es dar cuenta del contexto y los factores que explicarían este desarrollo y cuáles serian las líneas generales y desafíos con los que se enfrenta Chile ante la Sociedad de la información.________________________________ Chile currently demonstrates the highest access indicators to new information technologies in the region. With this in mind, the primary objectives of this research are to describe the key factors that explain this high level of technological development and to identify the principal challenges that Chile will face in the Information Society.
