El Sueño de Nectanebo (PLeid U.): análisis, autoría y tipología literaria

Abstract

En este artículo se analizan las líneas del papiro PLeid U. en que se relata el sueño del rey Nectanebo II (col. II l. 1-col. III l. 12) y se compara con las estructuras sintácticas y semánticas de otras descripciones de sueños conservados en textos griegos literarios, epigráficos y papiráceos. Se subrayan también los recursos del texto que muestran la búsqueda de un cierto estilo, si bien muy sencillo. Por último, se relaciona este papiro con la novella de Nectanebo con que se inicia la Novela de Alejandro y se ofrece una hipótesis sobre su autoría y género literario. This paper analyses the lines of the papyrus PLeid U. narrating the dream of Nectanebus II (col. II l. 1-col. III l. 12) and compares this dream with the syntactic and semantic structures of other descriptions of dreams preserved in Greek literary, epigraphic and papyrus texts. It also underlines the stylistic devices of the text, which are indicative of a certain style, albeit a very simple one. Finally, this papyrus is connected with the novella of Nectanebus at the beginning of the Alexander Romance, and a hypothesis is offered as to its authorship and literary typology.
