Abstract
É un feito que as formas empresariais de economía social, coa empresa cooperativa
como principal expoñente, veñen desempeñando un papel cada vez máis activo e destacado na
sociedade contemporánea, na que o fomento da capacidade emprendedora se converteu nunha
das prioridades das políticas de emprego. Tanto é así que hai quen chegou a cualifica-la creación
de empresas como a oitava arte.
Na actualidade, o empresario identifícase coa figura do emprendedor, que cando é colectivo
atopa na cooperativa unha fórmula cuns perfís idiosincrásicos que sintonizan con determinados
valores imperantes na nosa sociedade. A empresa non pode ser allea ó que a sociedade da
que forma parte sente, desexa, espera; pola contra, debe interiorizar eses valores e acomoda--
lo seu comportamento a eles para darlles ós seus stakeholders xusto o que estes demandan. A
cultura do cooperativismo, enchoupada de democracia, de solidariedade, etc., ofrécenos precisamente
iso, sen que se contrapoña á eficiencia na xestión empresarial, que fai posible a súa
supervivencia e desenvolvemento.
It is a fact that business forms of social economy, with the cooperative firm as the main figure, are carrying out a more and more active and outstanding role in contemporary society, in which fostering entrepreneurial capacity has became a priority in employment policies. It is for this reason that setting up companies has been ranked as the eighth art. At present, the businessman is seen as an entrepreneur, who when it is a collective finds in the cooperative a formula whose idiosyncratic profiles tune in with certain operating values of our society. The company cannot be inconsistent to the feelings, wishes or hopes of the society which it is a member; on the contrary, it has to internalize these values and to adapt its behavior in order to give to its stakeholders exactly what they expect. The cooperativism culture, embedded in democracy, solidarity, etc., offers us just this, without confrontation with efficiency in running the company, which make its survival and development possible.
