Terracotas femeninas del Foro de Arucci/Turobriga. ¿Testimonios de Culto a las Augustae et Divae?

Abstract

En el siguiente trabajo se presenta una nueva hipótesis en relación con las manifestaciones de culto imperial en el foro de la ciudad de Arucci/Turobriga (Aroche, Huelva), debido al hallazgo de una serie de terracotas femeninas en las sacella de este espacio forense. Éstas, fechadas en el s. II d.C. y principios del III, y halladas en un claro contexto religioso, recuerdan, tras el análisis estilístico de sus peinados, a las producciones de la estatuaria mayor de las emperatrices y princesas imperiales de estos momentos, relacionándolas con exvotos u ofrendas a las damas de la domus imperial de ese periodo.

In the following work one presents a new hypothesis in relation with the manifestations of imperial worship in the forum of Arucci/turobriga’s city (Aroche, Huelva), due to the finding of a series of feminine terracottas in the sacella of this forensic space. These, dated in the IInd c. A.C. and beginning of the IIIrd, and found in a clear religious context, there resemble, after the stylistic analysis of his hairdoes, the productions of major estatuaria of the empresses and imperial princesses of these moments, relating in relation to votive offerings or offerings the ladies of the imperial domus of this period.
