Abstract

Tris(pyrazolyl)borates (Tpx) have become one of the most broadly used polydentate anionic ligands in coordination chemistry and catalysis since Trofimenko introduced them in 1966. Herein we present a review of the main structural features of Group 11 metal complexes with Tpx ligands, as well as their catalytic properties, can be controlled by ligand steric and electronic factors.
