Abstract
En el año 2013, se llevó a cabo una campaña de
prospección arqueológica superficial en el término
municipal de El Cuervo (Sevilla). Esta intervención
arqueológica tenía en origen una finalidad científica y
académica. Su objetivo fue la revisión sobre el terreno
de trabajos de campo anteriores, junto a la posible documentación
de nuevos yacimientos, de cara a la comprensión
evolutiva del poblamiento humano desde la
gran diacronía y los parámetros de la arqueología del
territorio. En este artículo nos centraremos, no obstante,
en presentar los datos y analizar la evolución del
poblamiento romano y tardoantiguo.
In 2013, an archaeological survey was carried out in the municipality of El Cuervo (Seville). This archaeological fieldwork originally had a scientific and academic purpose. Its objective was the review of previous field work and the possible discovery and study of new archaeological sites. In line with this goals, we tried to understand the evolution of human settlement according to long diachrony and the parameters of the Landscape Archaeology. In this paper, we will focus on presenting the data and analyzing the evolution of the settlement of the Roman period and Late Antiquity.
