| dc.description.abstract | El Regional Committee on Atlantic Neogene Stratigraphy tiene como principal objetivo el estudio del Neógeno de los reinos marinos y terrestres a ambos lados del Atlántico, así como su relación con la historia de La Tierra. Los cambios recientes en las tablas cronoestratigráficas y el movimiento del límite Neógeno-Cuaternario han impulsado a los investigadores participantes en sus reuniones científicas más recientes al estudio conjunto de los materiales de ambas edades, sin considerarse ya una barrera infranqueable el límite Plioceno-Pleistoceno. | en_US |
