Abstract
En este estudio se elabora un índice integral de bienestar que involucra los
componentes salud, educación e ingresos, en sus dos dimensiones -objetiva
y subjetiva-. La medida propuesta implica dos procedimientos bietápicos de
agregación que combinan, cada uno en distinto orden, la media geométrica
y la ponderación de la media aritmética. Ambos resultados se conjugan a
través de un cálculo compensatorio utilizado en lógica difusa. Los resultados
obtenidos para un conjunto de 58 países dan cuenta del cambio significativo
en el ranking al integrar las percepciones de los individuos para cada uno de
los componentes del bienestar
In this study, an integral wellbeing index is elaborated that involves the components health, education and income, in both dimensions -objective and subjective-. The proposed measure involves two two-stage aggregation procedures combining, each in different order, the geometric mean and the weight of the arithmetic mean. Both results are combined through a compensatory calculation used in fuzzy logic. The results obtained for a group of 58 countries account for the significant change in the ranking by integrating the perceptions of individuals for each of the components of wellbeing
