Mujeres inmigrantes privadas de libertad

Abstract

Se revisa brevemente el estado de las mujeres en cárceles españolas y sus perfiles delictivos y los correspondientes datos cuantitativos de cárceles españolas. Se propone un proyecto de investigación cuyo objetivo principal es detectar los niveles de éxito o fracaso del colectivo de mujeres inmigrantes en su doble adaptación, en el país de destino y en las prisiones, a través de la observación de las distintas estrategias de asimilación que poseen. Todo ello, llevaría a una conclusión final, que sería obtener un perfil sociocultural de las mujeres inmigrantes.The status of women in Spanish prisons and their criminal profiles and the corresponding quantitative data of Spanish prisons are briefly reviewed. A research project is proposed whose main objective is to detect the levels of success or failure of the group of immigrant women in their double adaptation, in the country of destination and in prisons, through the observation of the different assimilation strategies they possess. All this would lead to a final conclusion, which would be to obtain a sociocultural profile of immigrant women.
