Abstract

reivindicati
The present study is an approximation to the political and ideological linguistic landscape of the areas close to the Cartuja university campus of Granada, where the bulk of the residents are students (Cercado Bajo de la Cartuja - San Ildefonso, Pajaritos and Plaza de Toros). The research methodology has consisted of mapping the district studied and taking photographs of linguistic displays in the streets and squares of these urban areas, followed by the subsequent analysis of data. The entire approach was conducted from a linguistic perspective. This research has allowed us to observe the political tendencies of the student population in Granada, concluding that most linguistic messages in the streets of these neighbourhoods, which repeatedly appear answered, lean towards a progressive political tendency and a protesting nature
