Abstract
El presente texto aborda el concepto de «reconocimiento
», desarrollado, a partir de una específica interpretación del uso
hegeliano del mismo, por el seguidor de Habermas, Axel Honneth
(Universidad Goethe de Frankfurt), como elemento central para la
comprensión del funcionamiento de una moderna sociedad democrática.
Al mismo tiempo, este concepto y su uso, a veces no libre de
cierta ingenuidad hacia las contradicciones estructurales de la mejor
forma social posible en condiciones capitalistas, está revisado y
confrontado a partir de un análisis del concepto del «cuádruple
ethos de la modernidad capitalista» del filósofo mexicano–ecuatoriano
Bolívar Echeverría (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México).
