Abstract
El presente trabajo muestra a través de las cartas privadas de los emigrantes
retazos de su vida cotidiana. Como sentían y vivían los hombres y mujeres que a lo largo del
siglo XVIII decidieron abandonar su tierra natal para dirigirse al territorio americano y en
concreto a Guanajuato para emprender una nueva vida.
Through the intimate epistolary relationship among the emigrants, this work shows a glimpse of their daily life. The way they lived, the way they felt, those men and women who, along the XVIII century, decided to set off towards American territory, to Guanajuato, in order to start a new life, leaving behind their own land.
