La imagen virtual de un patrimonio en constante cambio: la documentación del arte urbano y su contexto

Abstract

La documentación del arte situado en el espacio público es una tarea compleja desde diversos puntos, el principal está generado por la naturaleza misma de estas manifestaciones que, en ocasiones, son elaboradas con intención efímera y en las que sus creadores, junto con la comunidad, tienen un papel prioritario. Las discusiones e investigaciones en torno a este campo de estudio son de distinta índole, así como diversos son los estudios que se llevan a cabo por las distintas figuras involucradas. A lo largo de esta aportación, se pretende elaborar una visión acerca de la documentación de estas obras y las posibilidades que brinda el entorno virtual para su difusión y protección. Estas se encuentran enfocadas a las diversas facetas y potencial para generar imágenes que brindan las herramientas digitales, de manera que se promueva la conservación de las obras, referida únicamente a su existencia como documento y no a su materia.

The documentation of urban art is a complex task from various points of view, the main one being generated by the very nature of these manifestations which, on occasions, are elaborated with ephemeral intentions and in which the artist and community play a priority role. Discussions and research on this field of study are diverse, as are the studies carried out by the different figures involved. The main object of this contribution is to create an image of the documentation of these works and the possibilities offered by the virtual environment for their dissemination and protection. These are focused on the various facets and potential for generating images of these digital tools, so as to promote the conservation of the works, referring only to their existence as a document and not to their subject matter.
