Abstract
The mineralogical, petrological and geochemical characteristics of this saline unit indicate that the halite sedimentation took place in a subsiding shallow marine basin where contributions of continental and minor hydrothermal waters were available. Starting from the bromine distribution and fluid inclusions composition in the halite samples a correlation of both boreholes is proposed
