Abstract
filantro-capitalismo
This article epitomizes a biography of Pedro Romero de Terreros (1710-1781), first count of Regla, an hidalgo from Cortegana, who after marrying a rich mexican lady adquired the most important silver mine of that american country. He took advantage of it in a model way, and in 1775 founded the national bank (Monte de Piedad) of Mexico. The author maximizes the psicological approach and introduces the character as a forefather of the philantropic capitalism
