Abstract
El artículo describe, en primer lugar, las causas que motivaron la creación de
las Universidades Laborales en aquella España autárquica y dentro de un orden
político totalitario. Seguidamente, analiza el papel que desempeñó su profesorado
en la formación y adoctrinamiento de la clase obrera, así como las características
y su clasificación dentro de las Universidades Laborales.
Finalmente, analizamos cuál fue la formación, didáctica y metodología llevada
a cabo por el personal docente en su práctica diaria, como elemento básico
del sistema educativo; un elemento neurálgico para controlar la inculcación de
los principios del Movimiento y del nuevo espíritu patriótico, en aras de formar
una personalidad en sintonía con la filosofía del nacional-catolicismo, y conformado
principalmente por personal de las órdenes religiosas o por seglares pertenecientes
a la Falange.
The article primarily describes the reasons that motivated the creation of the Vocational Universities in Spain within a political totalitarian order. Immediately afterwards, it analyzes the role teachers played in the formation and indoctrination of the working class, as well as the characteristics and classification of Vocational Universities. Finally, we analyze which was the training and methodology carried out by the teaching staff in their daily practice, as a basic element of the educational system; an important element to inculcate the principles and the new patriotic spirit, forming a personality in accordance with the philosophy of the national catholicism, and shaped principally by personnel of the religious institutions or by laymen belonging to the Falange.
