Six aptian biozones have been recognized by studing the ammonite fauna of Garraf massif: D. weissi, D.
deshayesi, D. furcata, E. subnodosocostatum, P. melchioris and A. nolani. The studied ammonoid record is
until now the record with more defined biozones in the Iberian Peninsula
