Los héroes de los juegos olímpicos modernos y la evolución del equipamiento deportivo en el atletismo

Abstract

Los Juegos Olímpicos, como evento deportivo más importante del momento, es un medio muy interesante para observar y analizar cómo el equipamiento deportivo ha cambiado a lo largo de su historia, pudiéndose observar que esta evolución ha ido encaminada a cubrir las necesidades que tenía el deportista para lograr mejores resultados y a su vez, cómo esta ha facilitado la evolución del deporte mediante la inclusión de materiales y medios que permiten tanto una mejor realización, como una mejor evaluación del mismo. En este trabajo nos centraremos en la modalidad olímpica del atletismo y sus héroes olímpicos más relevantes, como ejemplo de la importancia de la evolución del equipamiento deportivo.

The Olympic Games, as the most important sports event at the moment, is a very interesting way to observe and analyse how the sports equipment has changed throughout its history. As a consequence of that, we are able to see that this evolution has been aimed at covering the needs of the athlete to achieve better results, and at the same time, how this one has eased the evolution of sport through an inclusion of materials and means, which permit a better execution, as well as a better evaluation of that one. This project will be focused on the Olympic athletics and their more relevant Olympic heroes, such as the importance of the evolution of sports equipment.
