Abstract
A la hora de componer las octavas reales con las que concluye La Araucana, Alonso de Ercilla se sirvió como fuente de las tres coplas apócrifas que cerraban el Laberinto de Fortuna y que se atribuían a Juan de Mena. La influencia cruzada de ambos poemas alcanzó directa o indirectamente a otros textos poéticos del Siglo de Oro, hasta llegar a las barquillas de Lope de Vega en La Dorotea.
When Alonso de Ercilla composed the final stanzas of La Araucana, he used as his source three apocryphal couplets that closed the Laberinto de Fortuna, and were attributed to Juan de Mena in his time. The cross-influence of both poems directly or indirectly reached other poetic texts of the Golden Age, such as Lope de Vega’s barquillas in La Dorotea.
