Las salinas de Huelva: patrimonio inmaterial y los nuevos turismos

Abstract

En los últimos años, estamos asistiendo a dos hechos contradictorios en torno al turismo cultural inmaterial: la masificación turística en elementos que están reconocidos internacionalmente (de los que ostentan el sello UNESCO) y, por el contrario, patrimonios que están en desuso y peligro de extinción. Este último caso es objeto de nuestra investigación. La sal ha sido un elemento indispensable por sus valores alimenticio, cultural y económico. En la provincia de Huelva existían multitud de salinas artesanales. Sin embargo, estas salinas han ido abandonándose, quedando actualmente solo una en activo. Nos proponemos mostrar cómo los nuevos turismos pueden activar este patrimonio inmaterial en riesgo.In recent years, we are witnessing two contradictory facts about intangible cultural tourism: the tourist widespread growth in elements that are internationally recognized (of those that have the UNESCO seal) and, on the contrary, assets that are in disuse and in danger of extinction. This last case is the subject of our investigation. Salt has been an indispensable element for its nutritional, cultural and economic values. In the province of Huelva there were many artisan salt pans . However, these salt pans have been closed , leaving only one currently active. We intend to s how how new tourism can activate this immaterial heritage at risk.
