Abstract
trabajo.
The importance of work líes not only on its psychosocial functions (salary, scheduling ... ), but al so as a fundamental foundation of individual identity. Given the importance of work in post-modero societies, the changes of labor politics associated with the work of seniors and the elderly, and the absence of studies, this investigation intends to explore the relationships of the elements that are inherent to the meaning of work and those amongst themselves, as well as satisfaction at work. The total sample is made up of 162 participants, all active employees of chemical and basic companies in Huelva. The factors obtained through the ACM support the presence of diverse moral discourses about work within the Spanish society (Crespo, et al., 1998), mainly as far as the discourse of coercion and the discourse of the internalized duty.
