Abstract
Este artículo presenta, describe y analiza la infraestructura, los objetivos y las acciones
institucionales necesarias para el fomento de la innovación educativa por medio del caso de estudio
de la universidad de la laguna, Canarias, (España). En primer lugar, se exponen las acciones que
la institución realiza para cumplir los objetivos establecidos para el fomento de la innovación
educativa. Entre las mismas, se destacan el apoyo a la creación de materiales didácticos mediante el
uso de las tecnologías de Información y las telecomunicaciones (tIC) para el fomento de la
docencia on-line. Sucesivamente el artículo se centra en las estructuras y unidades organizativas
encargadas de promover y gestionar la innovación. finalmente, se presentan los datos actualizados
de los resultados de cada una de las acciones. El crecimiento de la la participación e implicación del
profesorado es evidente, sobre todo si consideramos la evolución de los proyectos de innovación
educativa presentados en los últimos 10 años. En las conclusiones se propone una sistematización
de esta estructura que considera los elementos de gestión, financiación y estabilización
This article presents, describes and analyzes the structure, the aims and the institutional actions needed to promote the educational innovation, through the case study of the university of la laguna (Spain). first of all, the paper explains the actions realized by the institution in order to meet the objectives of educational innovation. these actions include the support to the creation of didactic material through the application of Information and Communication technologies (ICts) for the promotion of the on-line learning. later the article focuses on the structure and the organizational units responsible of the promotion and management of the innovation. finally, it presents updated data on the results of these actions. the growth of participation and involvement of teachers is clear, in particular considering the evolution of Educational Innovation project in the last 10 years. In conclusions a systematization of this structure is proposed, based on the elements of management, funding and stabilization
