Abstract
La lingüística forense se ocupa del
estudio de la interfaz entre lengua y derecho,
pero esta disciplina, por su carácter novedoso,
aún se encuentra en pleno desarrollo en muchos países, entre ellos, España. Es por esto
que, en este artículo, señalamos algunas fechas
y acontecimientos que han sido fundamentales
para el surgimiento y avance de esta materia,
para, posteriormente, realizar un recorrido por
su situación actual en los ámbitos anglosajón,
germánico o español, entre otros. Asimismo, se
recogen las principales asociaciones, centros de
investigación y universidades donde se llevan a
cabo acciones formativas o profesionalizantes
en torno a la !gura del lingüista forense
Forensic linguistics deals with the study of the interface between language and the law, however, this new discipline, due to its recent appearance, is still in early stages of development in many countries, including Spain. This is why, in this article, some dates and events that have been decisive for the emergence and progress of this !eld are mentioned, followed by a review of its current situation particularly in English-speaking countries, Germanic countries and Spain, among others. Finally, the main associations, research centres and universities where training or professionalizing activities are carried out in the !eld of forensic linguistics are also described
