Abstract
Este trabajo presenta sendas traducciones
inéditas de dos de las "Cartas poéticas" de
Rainer María Rilke realizadas por Emilio Gómez
Orbaneja y recuperadas, en los años 90, de los
materiales archivísticos de Dámaso Alonso por
el autor del texto de ahora. Así mismo, se ofrece
primero un breve acercamiento al entorno literario
de Gómez de Orbaneja, se incorporan, a
modo de contextualización, algunas muestras
del intercambio epistolar entre una de las hijas
de Gómez de Orbaneja y el autor del trabajo, y se
referencian algunos de los materiales bibliográ-
!cos consultados por este, así como las ediciones
en español que manejó de Cartas a un joven poeta.
Por último, se aporta la reproducción facsimilar
de una de las traducciones que Gómez Orbaneja
debió de enviar a Dámaso Alonso para su publicación
en Los Cuatro Vientos. Esta presentación
introductoria pretende incitar a los estudiosos a
profundizar en el análisis de estas traducciones.
This paper reveals two unpublished translations of two of Rainer Maria Rilke’s "Poetic Letters" made by Emilio Gómez Orbaneja, which were recovered, in the nineties from Damaso Alonso’s files by the autor of this paper+. In addition, a first brief approach to Gomez Orbaneja’s literary setting is provided, some samples of the epistolary exchange between one of Gómez de Orbaneja’s daughters and the autor of the paper are incorporated as a kind of contextualization, and some of the bibliographic works consulted by this last one are indexed, as well as the editions in spanish of Letters to a Young Poet which he worked with. Finally, the facsimile reproduction of one of the translations which Gómez Orbaneja should have sent to Damaso Alonso for his publication in Los Cuatro Vientos is provided. This preliminary introduction tries to encourage researchers to go deep into the analysis of these translations.
