Abstract
La diversidad recoge una realidad presente en
cualquiera de los ámbitos de intervención de nuestra
sociedad, reflejándose en todos los grupos, sectores
profesionales y/o en las propias instituciones.
En este sentido, en el plano educativo se define como
eje transversal que debe tenerse en cuenta para contribuira
la consecución de aspectos fundamentales
como es la cohesión social, al tiempo que las personas
se reconozcan y respeten como diferentes.
La formación inicial que se desarrolla en las Universidades
debe enfrentar el reto de la atención a la
diversidad, trabajando las competencias necesarias
para que los/as profesionales de la intervención socioeducativa
dispongan de las herramientas necesarias
que les permita luchar contra las desigualdades
derivadas de las realidades de diversidad.
Tomando como referencia a la Educación Social,
en este trabajo se reflexiona sobre los principales retos
que dichos estudios tienen en relación a las necesidades
formativas del alumnado para intervenir en contextos
de diversidad

Taking as reference to the Social Education, in this work one thinks about the principal challenges that the above mentioned studies have in relation to the formative needs of the student to intervene in contexts of diversity
