Abstract
This thesis wants to contribute to the knowledge of the processes of scholastic failure that are developed in the stage of Secondary Education, paying a special attention to the processes of scholastic absenteeism which they follow one another, of parallel form in the educative centers. We approached this reality through study of the factors that Literature on the matter has identified like associated factors to the problematic genesis and maintenance of both educative, that is to say motivation and educative expectations of the pupils, familiar implication in the educative processes and criteria for the organization of the center and the treatment of the scholastic absenteeism, all this complementing with the study of the relations that are developed between equals in the educative centers, through social network analyses. All this, we carried out it through a pluralistic methodology that combines different techniques from quantitative analyses and qualitative and that unites therefore the data collected through primary and secondary sources.
