Biblioteca universitaria y responsabilidad social : la Universidad de Huelva (España)

Abstract

Este trabajo pretende analizar el papel de las bibliotecas universitarias (BU) dentro de la Responsabilidad Social Universitaria (RSU) de las universidades. Se detallan sus contribuciones más importantes a este ámbito derivado inicialmente del mundo empresarial, con un estudio específico aplicado a la Universidad de Huelva (España). Finalmente, se detectan posibles áreas en las que las BU pueden realizar aportaciones futuras a la RSU.This paper analyzes the role of university libraries within the Social Responsibility of the universities (RSU). Their most important contributions to this area were detailed, with a specific study applied to the University of Huelva (Spain). Finally, it is possible to identify different areas in which the university libraries can make future contributions to the RSU.
