Abstract
En este estudio se presenta el desaparecido “venjonbol”,
un juego-deporte de salón que se desarrolló en Barcelona
en la década de los años treinta del siglo pasado. A
través de una revisión en las hemerotecas de la prensa
histórica se facilita un relato descriptivo y analítico con el
apoyo de indicios, pruebas y noticias que podrían sostenerse
la hipótesis que el tradicional y popular “fútbol de
botones” tiene sus orígenes en el citado juego de “venjonbol”,
que fue ocasionalmente practicado Barcelona.
This study presents the missing “venjonbol”, an indoor game-sport that was developed in Barcelona in the 1930s. Through a review of the newspaper archives of the historical press, a descriptive and analytical story is provided with the support of indications, evidence and news that could support the hypothesis that the traditional and popular “button football” has its origins in the game of “venjonbol”, which was occasionally practiced in Barcelona.
