Emociones de maestros en formación inicial hacia los contenidos científicos según el género al comienzo de una asignatura de didáctica de ciencias experimentales

Abstract
En este artículo se analizan las diferencias de maestros en formación inicial en
función del género, respecto a las emociones que experimentan hacia los
contenidos científicos al comienzo de la asignatura Didáctica de Ciencias de la
Naturaleza I del Grado de Maestro en Educación Primaria de la Universidad de
Huelva (España), durante el curso 2016-2017. Participaron 185 estudiantes
quienes respondieron un cuestionario de escala tipo Likert en el que manifestaron
su grado de intensidad sobre la experimentación de siete emociones positivas y
siete emociones negativas. Los datos fueron sometidos a análisis descriptivo e
inferencial mediante la prueba U de Mann-Whitney. Los resultados indicaron que
las mujeres experimentan casi todas las emociones positivas con mayor
intensidad en comparación con los varones. Se encontraron diferencias
significativas en entusiasmo e interés a favor de las mujeres.
In this article the differences of teachers in initial formation according to gender are analyzed, with respect to the emotions that they experience towards the scientific contents at the beginning of the subject Didactics of Nature Science I of the Degree in Primary Education of the University of Huelva (Spain) in the academic year 2016-2017. Participants were 185 students who answered a Likert scale questionnaire in which they expressed their degree of intensity on the experimentation of seven positive emotions and seven negative emotions. The data were subjected to descriptive and inferential analysis through the Mann- Whitney U test. The results indicated that women experience almost all positive emotions with greater intensity compared to men. Significant differences were found in enthusiasm and interest in favor of women.
