Abstract
Los learning management Systems son herramientas informáticas en la web que
permiten reunir diversos recursos que interactúan entre sí en un mismo lugar, con el fin de proveer
un espacio para llevar a cabo un proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje. Como recurso innovador, los
learning management Systems se vislumbran como elementos cuyas posibilidades son susceptibles
de ser analizadas y valoradas. El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo identificar las tendencias en
investigación sobre learning management Systems, a partir del metaanálisis de 22 tesis de maestría. de esta manera, se identificaron las temáticas abordadas por las investigaciones, así como los
enfoques, paradigmas, diseños e instrumentos, el sistema, nivel de formación y población de los
estudios, las principales plataformas estudiadas y los aportes de los estudios
