Abstract
In the University of Huelva and through a course in the Faculty of Sciences of the Education, we lead our students through a literary and artistic culture of the French language in the mark from a pedagogic practice through theatre. The pedagogic use that has been made, implies an active learning whose the main objective is to have a good time speaking French. The theatrical practice helps to develop the oral expression of the students and allows them to «live the language». It also allows them to develop the capacity of listening, cooperation, and of the imagination. Theatre can free them from their inhibitions, is ludic and besides coming closer to the culture and francophone literature. It is less academic and better learning, is accepted because it allows the students to overcome their barriers, they learn quicker and they have less reticence to speak in a language that is not their own and that they imagined impossible; we mustn’t forget that French is full of figured expressions and at the same time opaque and it presents many difficulties like the pronunciation, difficulties that disappear with knowledge and the development of affective and emotional aspects.
