Abstract
educativo asociadas a discapacidad intelectual destacando
At present, we are immersed in the digital revolution; which is changing the way of acting and designing most of the areas of our daily lives. Given this fact, we believe that the school as an institution to train people for their personal and professional development, should not be excluded because the New Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) are presented as an engine for change and innovation in education . In this article, we analyze the role of ICTs in the learning of students with special educational needs related to intellectual disabilities. We highlight some of the potential that ICTs have for teaching practice as well as the most relevant constraints that might become an obstacle to the incorporation of these means to the field of special education. Finally, we will make reference to the use of WebQuests as a teaching tool, based on cooperative learning
