Abstract
El artículo se inicia repasando el concepto «resolución de problema» y los distintos
modelos de Resolución de Problemas Matemáticos (RPM). A continuación se analizan los
distintos factores que pueden intervenir en la RPM dividiéndolos en aquéllos que corresponden
al problema matemático, los relativos al alumno o alumna que resuelve el problema
y, finalmente, al contexto del aprendizaje de la RPM. Posteriormente, se describen las
dificultades a las que puede enfrentarse el alumnado que resuelve un problema matemático.
Una vez descritas las dificultades de aprendizaje, el resto del artículo aborda cómo intervenir
sobre ellas.
This article starts by reviewing the concept of «problem solving» and the different patterns of Mathematical Problem Solving (MPS).Then, the different factors that may intervene in MPS are both analysed and classified into those that belong to the mathematical problem,those that refer to the actual student solving the problem and, finally, those related to the MPS learning context. Subsequently, the difficulties that students solving a mathematical problem may face are described. Once the learning difficulties have been portrayed, the article deals with how to address them.
