Abstract
The acquisition of the pronominal system is a long process by which children must master a long series of morphologic, syntactic, semantic and pragmatic knowledge. This means that this a grammatical category which appears in the first child productions, but it also means that children in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd courses of Primary Education make important mistakes in their use. This long process is related, on the one hand, to the features of the category itself: its two functions (deictic and anaphoric) and with linguistics and cognitive aspects which are necessary for their correct use and which children need to develop along a long period.
