Abstract
Nuestro objetivo en este artículo es mostrar cómo la lectura temprana que
García Márquez hizo de la novela de Hawthorne tuvo un impacto tan grande sobre él
que le influiría muchos años más tarde en su obra maestra, en el tratamiento literario
de aspectos tales como la casa, la culpa, el viento o las sagas familiares.
Our aim in this article is to show how the early lecture that García Márquez did of Hawthorne’s novel had such a great impact in him that would influence many years later in his great masterpiece in the literary treatment of aspects such as the house, the guilt, the wind or the family sagas.
