Abstract
The personalization of the customer experience is one of the most
sought after things in the hotel industry today and the most influential factor
in such personalization is the Internet of Things. Many hotels are betting on its
adoption, but there is still another large part that is not doing so. Thus, with this
study, carried out through the Delphi method and based on the judgment of experts
in technologies and hotels, the factors that influence the adoption of the Internet
of Things in the hotel sector and their degrees of influence on it have been located.
decision, which can be of great help to hotel managers when deciding whether to
opt for its implementation or not and when making strategies in the direction of its
